Transparent PLA FILAMENT 3D

The type 3D filament PLA (Polylactic Acid) is one of the most commonly used materials in 3D printing. In summary, it is also the easiest to print.

It is usually with this filament that "newbies" get their start because it is very easy to print. Your printer probably came with a free roll, it's PLA! Since it is made from plants, it is biodegradable when sent to your municipal compost facility. (Don’t worry, your 3D prints won’t decompose sitting on a tablet!)

3D PLA filament is rather stiff, but it is not the strongest of materials. After getting your hands on PLA, you can move on to more complex materials. If you have a 3D printer with a heated bed, it is best to set it to around 60°C and use active cooling (100%) of the 3D filament with the fan. Ideally, leave the fan closed for the first layers in order to have a good bed adhesion.

** Some good advice for all filaments, because they do not like humidity and the sun. Always put your 3D filament back in its airtight bag after you have finished using it otherwise it will become brittle. Do not expose it directly to daylight in order to prolong its life before printing, put it back in its box!
